Drums

Eric Low is a Denver native, who has been involved in music since a very young age. Eric has been playing professionally and teaching along the front range for the last 4 years. He is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado with a degree in Music Business and Music Performance with an emphasis in Jazz. He is proficient in rock, jazz, funk, latin, and country styles.

Eric started playing drums seriously when he was 11 and was one of the founding members of the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts at age 15. He played with CCJA through high school and played under the direction of many great jazz musicians. Eric is currently studying with Stanton Moore, the phenomenal drummer of the nationally touring New Orleanes funk band, Galactic. He has also studied and performed with many local denver artists including Paul Romaine, Drew Morell, Ron Miles, Paul Musso, Pat Bianchi, Jeff Jenkins, Art Lande, Greg Gisbert, Eric Gunnison, Convergence, The Grand Scheme, Serious George, James Dumm, Soul Funktion, Adam Quane trio, Kinetix and many others.

Eric is currently involved in recording an album with UCD jazz professors, Ron Miles and Drew Morell, to be released in the late summer of 2007. Through actively performing and teaching, Eric is extremely dedicated to his craft and is always trying to make each day a new challenge.
